We skipped spring in Beijing and went directly to full blooming summer - the temperature right now (at 9 pm) is 23 degrees and yes, the nature is going crazy. The cherry tree flowers always reminds me of my grandmother. Where she lived the beautiful cherry trees always bloomed when we went to visit in may and marked the beginning of summer - So to me, it´s her flower. She died many years and I have gotten use to her not being here, but when I seen the fantastic pink/purple beauty I always get so emotion and is for the short period it´s blooming, it´s like she is here. This year I might be so lucky to see it bloom twice - as the odds are I will be in North Europe in early May.
