I just simply love Nina Simone and have since I was 8 years old. I got a tape with her from a French friend of my mothers - actually the same one that introduced Vanessa Paradis to me - and this was my absolute favorite song on the tape, that I played till it ended up as "salat" - and yes, now more than 20 years later, this song is still my absolute best Nina Simone tune.
