BABY I AM COMING HOME !

I have checked in - and I am so ready to check out of Asia tomorrow afternoon. Foreigners in Asia, especially the French, are not super positive at the moment - radiation rumors are all over - people are stocking iodine, buying tickets out of Asia, and taking all kind of precautions even though we are 2100 km from the disaster - it the exact opposite with the Chinese, whom I haven´t heard mentioning the earthquake nor the nuclear disaster with as much as a word! My ticket has, as you know, been booked for a long time, but must say that timing could not be much better for me, my family and my friends - as everybody want me to come home. Not that I am gonna spend that much time at home - just in the next week I am visiting Paris, Milan and London - but Europe is better than Asia at the moment. GUESS WHAT I DID YESTERDAY ?

... I bought the 2 top photos ... and had a super arty sunday including a lunch at Fodder Factory - the perfect weekend do - well not so perfect as next weekend will be - Saturday it´s my annual Christmas lunch with my favorite girls in Copenhagen (yes, a little late, I know, but it´s hard to plan when one is living China and one has twins - so 3 months delay is actually, when you think about it, pretty okay) - I can not wait to see them - but also to see my favorite twins, my other favorite girlies and of course my wonderful family. Uhh, the next couple of weeks are gonna be good ones. Next weekend will also more good things such as a trip to the hairdresser (seriously needed after 3 month in China), a shopping trip including Cos, Acne & Kassandra (always needed), one or two nice run in spring Copenhagen and a big nice cup of coffee at boyfriend and my favorite place in Vesterbronx (while wishing he would be there) ... Yes, the next weekend is gonna be the best, though this one was pretty awesome.

YOU & ME

While boyfriende was visiting we watched Blue Valentine with Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling - and I loved loved loved it. It´s the saddest story ever with beautiful pictures and the totally cool music. I have played the couple´s song "You & Me" with Penny and the Quarters a million times on my kermit, and it only gets better and better and better - I wish it was boyfriende and my song - but that one has been chosen many years ago - and has a less sad feeling to it. I have been in love with Mr Gosling for a very long time, but this movie just made me fall even harder; He´s loving, he´s hurting and he´s fighting and all in a so cool and stylish way - and my god; he plays and sings the coolest little piece on his banjo while courting Michelle; "You always hurt the one you love" - which I know and love with the Mills Brothers - but now my favorite is Ryan´s version. Well, Miss Williams is just as cool, beautiful and fantastic as always - and plays the role to perfection - and my love for her only grow bigger and bigger for every movie. Blue Valentine is so far my favorite film of this year and - but as I have a "classic" movie weekend (which I will tell you about later) it´s could be pushed aside - but believe me, it´s very unlikely. If you haven´t seen it - please please please do ! If you´r anything like me, I promise you you will not regret it.

EARTHQUAKE IN JAPAN

Yesterday there where the worth earthquake in Japan ever. Today Japan is trying to gather the pieces and return to normal - whatever that is. From the first time I visit Tokyo I found the Japanese were preparing for yesterday - all house has small arrows on the houses to see if they were moving and I am sure there´s lot of other things not visible - but it´s difficult to prepare for a 8.9 earthquake and Tsunami waves. The day before yesterday there were a smaller earthquake in South China, so though Beijing is not that likely to get hit, I am still preparing - reading up on what to do - coming from Denmark, well I have not idea. Besides that this Saturday will be spend on "The King´s Speech", going to glass marked to get new lenses in glasses bought in Hong Kong last week and then a trip to the gym getting a good workout - everything back to normal - well, for me in Beijing that is - for Japan there´s a long way to go.

BREAST CANCER DONATION PICTURE

I bought a picture yesterday on Bruun Rasmussen. It a donation auktion to raise money for a Breast Cancer foundation called Breast Friends. The artist is Mille Kalsmose and it´s plastic pearls melted together - making a kind of pointism picture of a little family of four. I like the contempory mocaik feeling and think the spanish educted artist is very intersting - different than a lot of the other Danish artist right now - and different in the good way. I am by the way looking very much forward to going the EXIT exhibion this year. Normally I never miss one - but as I moved to China last year - I did not get to go. I have been using the exhibition to check out - who to buy, keep an eye on or to avoid - and I can only recommend everybody to go. Some years it´s brilliant - other years it pure crap. As Kunstforening Gammelstrand still is under construction (?) this years exhibition is at Kunsthallen Nicolaj this summer - but I will keep you updated when we come closer to summer and the EXIT exhibition

HONG KONG WEEKEND

So last weekend was spend in Hong Kong with my girlfriend. We made the best combo of food, inspiration, shopping and sightseeing for 3 days. Well I know Hong Kong very well and been basically everywhere, but it was my first time in the Hong Kong Hills. We took the 120 year old tram up in the hills to experience more of what the city have to offer - view wise, and it was definitely the trip worth - action wise, well maybe not so much. I did not really have a shopping agenda for the trip - except buy a new Ipod - as the letters on my Kermit has disappeared due to water - but my friend wanted iphone - well, that was not possible as HK is drained! But then we came back with lots of new running clothes instead. I love getting new gear, as it makes me wanna go running much more - and it does the same for boyfriende, so guess what I bought a lot for him as well. This week, back home in Beijing, is super busy - we have order meetings next week and I am leaving for Denmark next friday - and well yes, have visits for Denmark and Norway - so the days are long long long, but tonight I am on the sofa with very bad tv - finding the inner power to handle tomorrow.
