Lauritz.com is auctioning of skateboards decorated by different artist – and I am simply loving the concept. Stateistan, which the project is called, is building skateparks and educations facilities in Afghanistan for the purpose of giving children a space where they can get away from war, horror and all the problems of living in one of the worlds most dangerous places. I follow the auction last year – and did not bit on anything – but this year I am – and I really hope I win – Would love a skateboard on my wall, though boyfriend is not loving the idea – He doesn't think we are the type that have skateboards on the wall – but I'll prove him wrong.
