KATHRINE ÆRTEBJERG

For easter I am going to Kolding to Trapholt to se Kathrine Ærtebjergs new exhibision. I love her - and yes your are right I love quite a lot of "young" danish artists - and have the pleasure of watching one of her littographs everytime I walk into my living room - Lucky me. She is exhibiting until May 30, 2010 at Trapholt, Æblehaven 23, Kolding.

MY NEIGHBORHOOD

Saturday we were suppose to go to Beaver project – but a long lunch with a friend made it impossible for use to reach their opening hours so instead we walked around on our neighborhood and these two pieces was what we met on our way.

PRADA COLORS

As you already know - I love Marni´s color universe - but Marni isn´t the only italian brand that manages to make perfect color coordinated collections - Prada does a fine job - sometimes! Here is a couple of my favorite campains from Miuccia Prada.

BE MY BABY

One of my favorite ladies is Vanessa Paradis - You might remember me playing "Joe le Taxi" here on the blog a couple of weeks ago - That was my first piece of musicin the form of a small LP more than 20 years ago - together with one with Princess Stéphanie of Monaco - but I must say that I liked the Vanessa one the most - And then when she later came out with "be my baby" I was sold. Now 2 decades later she is just as smoking as she was as a teenager, married to Johnny Deep, mother of two and actually about to do her first film with hubby.

HELLE MARDAHL

Like I wrote a couple of day ago - I have been bitting on a skateboard for charity and lucky me - I won ! (I know my friends now are shaking their heads thing "does she have space for more stuff on her walls" - and "yes! I do ! ") I can´t wait till I get my new baby home - I know just where she is gonna live.

The artist whom has done the board is danish Helle Mardahl - a designer turned artist, who has a wonderful universe with colors, collages and twisted lines. She started out as a clothing designer with her own collections, but along with doing that she did arts, interior and much much more. In the mid 00´s she closed that down her line only to make scenography for another danish designer Stine Goyas. Since then she has kept doing lots of super cool stuff and I must say I think she is a very talented lady. I am so happy about owning her contribute to Skateistan and of course also for having helped the children of Afghanistan just a tiny bit.
