SHUNYI ART EXPERIENCE

Also this weekend has been packed with lots of stuff to do. Friday I went out for a farewell dinner for one of the girls here - who are leaving for Norway in 2 weeks. We had dinner at an Italian restaurant in the embassy area - not my best experience here and quite pricey, but a cozy evening with drinks and good company. Saturday my friend and I went for an adventure out of town. We went first to get our nails done in the Village (- I went for very dark red darlings on my hands - love the color and I am for sure gonna choose that again) and after that we to a taxi north to join other friends at a farmers marked in Shunyi. It is a quite suburban place and I almost got claustrophobic but the art part of it was quite inspiring - though I didn´t see anything I would hang on my walls it is so fun to see other ways to do galleries. In the evening we quickly hurried home, passing Jenny Lou´s on the way to get the necessaries to have pasta and white wine on the balcony at my friend place. Later we went to Nola for DCCC Beijing Young Professionals - the bar were free till 23 o´clock and after then the drinks were cheap - so it was a super night, with way to many drinks, but lot and lot of fun - with some colleges and girlfriends from the Wednesday Dinner Group. Yesterday was hangover day in the sun in Central Park and today it´s count down day - as boyfriend is joining me in less than 18 hour - wuhuuu!
