HOLIDAY MOMENTS

My family left yesterday after a wonderful week of holiday with me here in Beijing. So so quiet now in the appartment - but luckily I am following them tomorrow - Going back home to say goodbye to boyfriend, who is leaving for Afghanistan on Monday....

VISIT READY

Got the last stuff up and hanging before my family - or at least some of it - is visiting from this coming Saturday - I can´t wait - simply counting the days.

MY FIRST CHINESE WEDDING

My Chinese college got married today - a very short affair - in and out in 2.5 hours ! But fun to try. We sat at the "English Speaking" tabel - Turk, Danes, Chinese, Korean-adoped and French-African - A pure United Colors of Benetton commercial. At the table next to us were my colleges granddad - 92 years old - He was in the old classic blue uniform.- and on the last 10 pages of "Wild Swanes" I cannot help thinking of all he has lived through... Well the rest of the day was spend at the office - just like the so called weekend will be. Happy Friday Night guys - I am dreaming of the next one - where my family is coming - wuhuuu !

GLEE CRUSH

China has gotton me hooked on Glee - so on The Kermit are now my two favorit Glee songs - A Gaga and a Barbra Streisand tune - so much better than the original - I think anyway.

Thinking of it, the picture reminds me of another serie I have been hooked on - back in the 90´s :

- but now almost 20 year later I must say the stories are a little better - and yes, so is the music.

VIRGIN SUICIDES

I just saw this - well more than a decade later than everybody else. Why ? I really don´t know - it´s for sure a mistake - cause I really liked it and will for sure re-watch it again, maybe I should make myself a Sofia Coppola film club and give all her pearl a review. Today in Beijing it´s mid autumn day also called moon festival - the day of the year where the moon is the fullest - I can´t see it but who cares - we have the day of. Actually we have tomorrow and Friday as well - but I am so super busy on work that I have to work tomorrow and half of Friday - the rest of Friday will be spend attending my very first Chinese Wedding - can´t wait - and yes, pictures will forsure follow. Happy Moonfestival !
