LONDON - PARIS - COPENHAGEN AND BACK

I spend the last week in Europe. First London, then Paris - where boyfriend came down to spend the weekend with me - sightseeing, eating wonderfull food and kissing on the streets and last but not least 2 days in Denmark, where I did not have time to much else than work. However I had one evening where I went to see the twins, their lovely mother and cool father and the one and only Miss Lulu with boyfriende. It was a busy busy week - lots of traveling - but the moments were all worth it. Now I am back in Beijing, trying to power-weekend it - as the weekend this week only is one day - as there´s the Moon Festival next week we need to work tomorrow. I have a meeting early Sunday morning and then I am off to Hangzhou for business trip for two days - why stay at home when you can travel ? The rest of today will include hanging newly framed pictures, manicure, pedicure, dinner with a friend and lot of HBO.

LONDON BABY

I am off on my business trip that will turn into a love trip that once again will turn into a business trip. First stop Amsterdam, next stop London, then Paris and last of all home sweet home Copenhagen before I go back to second home. This morning I made a stupid mistake - I went to the wrong terminal but fortunately I was in very very good time because cause the morning traffic can be so tricky in Beijing - so fortunately I am now in terminal 2 ready for boarding. See you later alligator !

HUSK MIT NAVN ON MY WALL

I just got myself a present ... I really like myself for buying myself nice things – I am very nice to myself ! I neighed this “Outgames” lithograph yesterday evening on Lauritz.com (Outgames was a sports event last year in Copenhagen for Gay and Lesbians from all over the world) and yes, it's before mentioned Husk Mit Navn who is the creator. It my first pic by him and it´s gonna fit right in with the rest of my contemporary collection, well yes actually also with my hole collection – both here in China and in Denmark.

I am following different blogs. Some fashion ones, some live ones, some living ones and also some art ones. One that I check out very often is Husk Mit Navn´s blog. He is - for those of you how doesn´t know him (Which might be all people besides Danes interested in art I guess) - a Danish graffiti artist turned artist however still doing graffiti - and how has a very specific cartoonist style which I think is super cool. He does on his blog make cool give-aways such as old prints, sketches and right now he has barried a box with a little drawing somewhere in Copenhagen. He has photographed his trip there on his bicycle and well yes the one that finds the box gets to keep it! Wish I had time to go treasure hunting next week ... but I am only in Copenhagen in 2.5 day so I will not have time. But Husk Mit Navn (which by the way means Remember my name - which if funny as the artist still is "anonymous" to the public - which is an okay idea - as he, like I told you - still does graffiti ) is also getting ready to exhibit in Schäfer Grafik in Nansensgade in Copenhagen. I did not this place - I tend to stick to Vesterbro and the City Center for galleries - but they have a lot of cool Danish artists so I will for sure check it out when I have more than 60 hours in Denmark.

LIANGMA MARKETS

I kill stuff - especially plants - but this weekend also the cockroaches in my bathroom. That took the exterminator an hour or so - but the plants, well they have taken me 2 month or so to starf, drown or what ever I have done to make the look so bad - so today a friend and I went to two different flower markets to fill up on green stuff. First market was Laitai flower market - a big mixed market with plants, pottery, Chinese garden stuff (believe me - I should have brought camera ... It´s a sight what you can buy for your home - I ended up with embroidered fabric things to put between our eating plates in Copenhagen - who can live without ?) and other well yes, absolutely necessary things. However I thought the Liangma flower marked - just next to Landmark hotel where I spend October, November and December last year - where I bought my now "late" plants was much better in what I was looking for in plants - which is "Bo Shui" (No water) flowers. Now I have 3 new masterpieces in the apartment together with two hand dolls in wood and a green bowl all bought yesterday at Liangma Antique Market. This was our first time at this marked - and compared to the Panjiayuan Antique Market I think this is much nicer. It´s smaller, there´s no tourists and actually no Chinese either and they have everything from rugs, furniture to antiques in all areas. It was super fun to see a new market and I will for sure go back for more - the place does not fill itself. Speaking of I found cool magnets for the fritz at the fame-store and also little nice box in the supmarked. After the Trip yesterday we hurred home to change close and then we went to a BBQ with the Danes at the Den - which as always let to a late night - 4.30 am and heavy hangover today ! Now I am so tired and will watch a movie before I go to bed to get ready to a busy week which will bring me to London and Paris - will keep you updated.
