HUSK MIT NAVN AT KØS
This weekend it was time for yet another roadtrip. We packed up our little family and headed for Køge; a small city approximately 40 km outside of Copenhagen. Here "The Danish Museum Of Art In The Public Space" is placed; and this weekend was my first time visiting it (-but for sure not the last) The reason for going was the Danish streetartist Husk Mit Navn (you might remember him for here, here and here) but there was lots of other interesting things when we arrived there; a small exhibition about Bjørn Nørgaard´s Gobelins for the Danish Queen (not sure of the English word for that; google translate says: Tapestry ?) and an exhibition about art playgrounds; which is perfect for when Baby is a little older, so I took notes and pictures to remember where to go. But the main attraction - the Husk Mit Navn exhibition was very cool and totally worth the trip: lots of different things such as photos, paintings, skateboards, on the wall drawings, painted chairs and much much more; and it was a big hit with not just Boyfriende and me, but also Baby enjoyed it very much. He is becoming quite the little art-person; not yet 5 months old and already been to Lousiana, SMK, KØS, Niels Stærk, V1, Ordrupgaard...well lets see if we won´t add one or two more to the list before he turns 5 months in 2 weeks; there´s fore sure a good chance.

VISITING FINN JUHL
On the weekend we went to Ordrupgaard to see their Per Kirkeby exhibition, their wonderful Gauguins and of course also to see the fantastic Ordrupgaard. The last two did not disappoint me; but the first one did; too much of too poor quality; if you ask me ... however roadtrip with my two lovers is always lots of fun no matter where we go or what we see. Just next to Ordrupgaard is Finn Juhl´s house, a place I have never seen before, and I was so inspired !!! I love love love the furniture, the colors, the paintings, the carpets, the build-in solutions; well I just loved the place and both of us now have cool solutions to our future home; oh yes; by the way: we bought a new place and are moving in less than 3 months; I simply can´t wait till the 108 m2 are ours and we can start our new life; back in the city... not Vesterbro, our old neighborhood, but very close; Valby, which is maybe a little more suitable for a small family with a baby, as it is close to the Zoo, and lots of green areas, playgrounds and places to run around. Well yes, super exiting; both our new place but so absolutely also Finn Juhl´s house...

IT´S MY PARTY
Yesterday was my birthday and I spend it, as planned, with my two favorite boys. Boyfriende had planned at trip through the city collecting some of my gifts, eating lunch and visiting the spring exhibition at Charlottenborg - and though the weather was not great ... it rained ALL DAY ... it was the best day; so turning 33 was much better than turning 32.
APRIL
Time is flying ... now it´s suddenly April, easter and my birthday is coming up in only 2 days ... I cannot believe how much things have changed in the last year - I have gone from living in China childless to living in Denmark with my love and our wonderful little boy. How Tuesday - my birthday - will unfold; I do not know... Boyfriende is planning it; but one thing is for sure; it will be spend with my boys. Last year I spend the morning with some friends at Sunday brunch at the Westin in Beijing (- and on my way home I went to Ritan park and took these wonderful pictures of the blooming trees ... I sincerly hope for just a little bit of the same spring feeling on Tuesday...) but the rest of the day and evening was spend alone at home (on Skype) - so I am very pleased that things look different this year.
